UPSTAIRS BATHROOM

EXTRA BEDROOM (IF REQUIRED)

At approx 235cm x 285cm this is our smallest bedroom, but it still has plenty of room for a single bed, with extra pull out bed, or an additional cot depending on your requirements.  There are two doors, a small window, a radiator and a bedside cabinet with lamp, the floor is ceramic tiles. Like all the rooms it is painted white, with exposed oak woodwork

GARDENS, OUTSIDE FACILITIES, PLAY AREAS

Your gite is surrounded by around 1000m2 of beautiful garden, we are lucky to have a vast selection of wildlife visiting us - woodpeckers, red squirrels, owls, hedgehogs, frogs etc.  There are also numerous fruit and nut trees - help yourself  if the produce is ready when you are here -  and an extensive herb garden in front of the gite - once again more information on this can be found in your accommodation.  The rest of the front of the property is largely lawned, with a (covered) well, and sun dial, fruit trees, shrubs and flowers. 

The side area is paved with a table and chairs and barbecue.

The rear of the property is again mostly lawned, but with a fantastic childrens play area at one end (which is visible from the house) and a hammock, there is also another patio area directly outside the downstairs bedroom.

lOUNGE

Fully fitted oak kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, gas cooker & hob,microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle etc.  Ample crockery, utensils and linen. Table & chairs.  Radiator.  Exposed beams.

KITCHEN & DINING ROOM

A beautiful bedroom with two large French windows  leading directly out into the garden.  There is a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, wardrobes, a two seater sofa and small table.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM

White suite with back to the wall toilet, bath, shower over bath, basin, and heated towel rail. There is also a large cupboard opposite the bathroom with iron, ironing board, cleaning equipment, baby equipment etc.

DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM

The gite is situated in the heart of the beautiful floral village of Le Gorvello. Your accommodation is part of a traditional “longere” or longhouse, which were very common in this part if Brittany.  The original part of this one, we believe, dates back to around 1750.  We have refurbished it to an exceptional standard over a period of two years 

Details of the accommodation can be found below.  Everything is fitted out to the highest standard - doors and windows are oak, towels and bedlinen are pure cotton or Egyptian cotton, the kitchen is over-equipped with utensils etc.  Everything in your gite is spotless, the windows are clean, the garden is tidy, and everything you might need has been thought of. 

You will find in the gite a detailed explanation of the area, places to visit, and  a restaurant guide and reviews.  Additionally, we offer catering at certain times of the year.  During high season this is often a “theme” breakfast, such as American, (with pancakes & syrup, waffles, hash browns etc), again details to be found in your gite.

 

 

ALL sheets, duvets, towels (NOT beach towels) etc are supplied, along with spares, We also supply all kitchen/dining linen.  If you are here with children, various baby/child aids and toys can be supplied (at no extra cost) please discuss this with us.

ALL YOU NEED TO BRING IS YOURSELF, SOME CLOTHES AND A BEACH TOWEL!

 

Double bedroom overlooking the front garden with huge picture window, exposed beams, and enormous built in wardrobes with ample space for your cases etc as well as clothes storage.  Double bed, bedside tables, wardrobes, radiator, lamps etc.  This is usually the room we use for “treatments (massage, reflexology etc)

Brown leather sofas, chairs, (English)TV/Video/DVD with ample DVD’s & video’s to suit all tastes.  Books, boardgames and current month UK magazines. 

Twin bedroom overlooking the back garden (window has roller shutter) two single beds, bedside tables, clothes storage, radiator etc

White suite with shower (80cm x 1m) back-to-wall-toilet, and counter top basin.  Velux window & heated towel rail.   Remember too, we provide soap, toilet rolls and towels etc.
